At their weekly meeting on June 14, 2023, Kiwanis Club of Texarkana handed out 24 grant checks from the proceeds of their Pancake Day, which raised nearly $40,000. The recipients of those funds were: All Abilities, Bikers Against Child Abuse, Black Mambas Track Club, Buddies Across America, CASA, Fearfully and Wonderfully Made, First Choice Pregnancy Center, For The Sake of One, Just Love & Kindness, K.I.D.S. Day Camp, Kids Run The Line Too, Opportunities Inc., Runnin’ W.J. Ranch, Stuff The Bus, Shop With A Cop & Firefighter, TASD Student Council, Temple Memorial Rehab, Texarkana Resources For The Disabled, The Call, Top Soccer, TRAHC, Girl Scouts Troop 2123, United Way Dolly Parton Imagination Library, and Watersprings Ranch.
